Eve Kask works in Käsmu and Tallinn. She graduated from the State Art Institute (now the Estonian Academy of Arts) department of graphic art as a book designer in 1984.

Kask has worked in media including printmaking, artist’s books, photography, video and installation media, and has had 33 solo exhibitions in Estonia and abroad, published four books, and collaborated on curating a number of international exhibitions. She was the president of the Tallinn Print Triennial from 1998 to 2014.

Her works have been described in connection with keywords such as subconscious, mythical, symbolism, expressionism, feminism, anthropological documentalism and playfulness, humor and fiction. Her most recent exhibition, 2 + 2 = … at Tartu Art Museum was positioned on the boundary between truth and fiction and was most closely related to the post-truth phenomenon.

Her works can be found in Tallinn Art Hall, the collections of the Estonian and Lithuanian national art museums, the Chelsea College of Arts artists’ books collection in London, Ostrobothnian Museum in Vaasa, Finland, and various institutional and private collections in Europe, Australia, US, Canada, Japan and Russia.
